The original curriculum
Our sequence follows Napoleon Hill’s The Law of Success in Sixteen Lessons, published in 1928 by the Ralston University Press. We retain the sixteen historic lesson titles, beginning with The Master Mind and ending with The Golden Rule. This is distinct from later presentations of seventeen success principles.

Our guides
Lesson explanations, applications, exercises, reflection questions and discussion prompts on this site are original contemporary study material. They do not reproduce the book or claim to be Hill’s own wording. They encourage critical reading, ethical boundaries and practical testing.
Hill wrote in the language and assumptions of his time. Statements about thought, energy or universal laws should not be treated as established scientific mechanisms simply because they appear in success literature. Read the text carefully and distinguish metaphor, philosophy, historical claim and evidence.
The Facebook archive
Selected public posts from the Hill Masterminds page were reviewed to inform the site’s themes. Our journal links directly to the featured welcome message, the November 10, 2023 helping-others post, and the November 12, 2023 fear video. The articles are new reflections, not full transcripts. We have not imported every historical post, private comment or video.

Independence
Hill Mastermind is Matthew Castle’s independent educational initiative. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Napoleon Hill Foundation. No celebrity endorsement, credential or guaranteed result is implied. Financial outcomes depend on circumstances and actions; study and effort do not remove uncertainty.
A separate philosophical thread
Matthew’s Resonance Model explores faith, agency and growth in its own terms. It is linked as part of his wider work, not inserted into the sixteen original lessons or represented as a scientific finding.
